WOW, things have been so busy and it has been sometime since I have had a chance to actually sit and post! Today the girls were flower girls for a friend of Mike's wedding. They were beautiful and did a great job. Let's see.....where to start :)
Here we are in SD, going on 2 1/2 years, crazy to believe it was that long ago that everyone in GA wished us goodbye :( At the end of this year Mike will have completed his time for the honor guard position and we will have completed our time here at this base....that means they can move us, but do not have to. Mike needs to pray about what the Lord would have him to do....there is a special duty position in FL but he also is interested in possibly cross training...we will see what the Lord has for us. I am excited to see what the Lord will do, I want to be where He wants us! These 2 1/2 years have been so very hard, but the Lord has showed me so things in the past couple years. ONE of the many things is that I will never tell the Lord that I will not go somewhere, I will go where he sends!
We are getting ready to possibly sell our Altima that has been so faithful to us for 9 years, it just will not hold our family anymore...maybe another van ??? :)
We have plans for travel coming up....we may possibly take a trip to Denver in the next couple weeks, just for a few days to get away as a family and yes to shop and eat. We are about 6 hours from Denver and that is our closest big city. We have been to the Denver airport many many times, but never out of the airport. I am excited about that possible trip!
We are also planning a trip to TX!!! We are planning on going sometime the middle of March when the Ledbetter kids are out for spring break, we also plan on seeing Mike's granny and I am so so very happy about that trip. We have not been to TX since Thanksgiving of 2008! WOW time flies.
And THEN....if the Lord allows we will be going to GA in June for BABIES! The plans are for Mike to drive us all down as I will need the van. He will fly home the day after we get there and leave us with the van. After all the babies are born, he will fly to get us and we will all drive home together...WOW that will be fun!
For updates on us....Mike and I are well, the Lord continues to be so kind to us. My headaches seem to be a thing of the past and I am so THANKFUL, thank you Lord!
Anna has her first loose tooth and is doing well in school and with piano lessons. Naomi's speech is wonderful but continues in therapy. Luke has also started speech therapy. Naomi had an interest to learn and Luke, well he does not :) He is all boy and completly different from the girls, I love it!!! Beth is sitting up, crawling everywhere and trying to pull up on things...she is almost 9 months now! I love my babies, my gifts from the Lord.
I am going to try to be more faithful again in posting to my blog. I love and miss you all, we will see what the Lord does, maybe this will be our last year in SD, maybe not ??? It would be perfect to be in the FL panhandle...only 5-6 hours from my mom and just a few more from TX...sounds like a plan, right :)
The pics are from the wedding today. Anna, Naomi and Isabell (Anna's friend from down the street. The Lord has been so kind to send her family into our life, they are blessings to us...we needed them).

Hope your Denver family trip works out. That sounds like lots of fun and the trip won't be too long for y'all.
