The Lord is in control

Well here I am, writing another update late at night while Mike and the kids sleep. Life is crazy but more crazy then usual lately.

We had planned and long awaited our trip to TX in which we would have left today. Well as you can see, we did not go. Things came up....there is a chance Mike will deploy in July and if that happens it is best he have plenty of days saved up, thus being the reason we postponed our TX trip. However...we are excited that Mike's sister Grace and her daughter Sarah will be visiting. The are to be in Tuesday night and stay with us until Monday!! We are so excited to see them :) Many "girly" activities I imagine :)

So like I said Mike may deploy....he is also interested in cross training into a different career field...what does that mean?? Well he would go back to school and they would assign us to a base after that. School would most likely be in TX or Mississippi. TX would be great for school since we would be close to Mike's family and closer to GA...actually half the time we are now, I would feel like I could drive that to meet my mom and sister for lunch :) Mississippi would be good because we would be right in the middle of our families :)!! After school Lord willing and it would be our hopes they would reassign us to a different base. Our first choice would be Eglin AFB in Pensacola, FL. second would be any base in the South East pretty much.

We are trying to finish up school about a month early in hopes that in the next several months, the Lord will be moving us about....:) wishful thinking, right ?? I am excited to see what the Lord may or may not have for us. Pray we would have content hearts and that the Lord would open and close these doors to make His direction obvious to us. We have desires in our heart concerning Mike getting into a new career field and getting stationed in the SE...pray we would delight in the Lord, we do need prayer always :)

The kids are all well, wish you could see them all and they wish they could see you all :(

Tomorrow our small church and some friends of ours are having a little get together and playing some games. Sat. we with a ton of other families will be attending something that educates the kids about deployments and so forth....I think that is what it is, we will see I guess :)

Almost April, 2 months until the births of the babies !!!!

We love you all, miss you all so so much and look forward to the day we can have a welcome back party lol....guess we will see about that one :) Good night!
