Family Update

Well I guess it is time for another one of these :)

For those of you who are wandering or did not know, Mike is not going to be doing OSI...the Lord closed that door. We are not sure what the next step will be for our little family. As of now, we are waiting to see if the Lord might open a door for something else...pray for us as we wait. The Lord's answer may be no, it may be in His will for us to be in South Dakota a bit longer.

The pregnancy is going pretty well. I feel good in the mornings usually but the afternoons are a bit rougher. I am already faced with gestational diabetes...I did not face it with Beth until 28 weeks...we were told, once diabetic with a pregnancy the following pregnancies are usually diabetic as well....true for us. Pray for me as I try to be very faithful with my strict diet, blood sugar testing and exercising. I usually feel great while following these things and pregnant.

The kids are well. Beth is walking!! That is our latest news. Anna is about ready for another school year. We have enrolled her with Pensacola Christian and she will be doing the DVD program from our home. I will start working with Naomi this year for pre k...pretty informal though. Luke....well I need to start the potty training thing with him....not fun, potty training is something I would almost like to pay someone else to do for me :) Naomi and Luke are both making great progress with speech therapy. They had evaluations last week and Naomi gets a 6th month break from therapy...she will have another evaluation in 6 months to see her progress without therapy. Luke was having therapy twice a week and now only needs it once a week. I am so thankful to the Lord for all this progress.
