California here we are!

On the 9th of November we pulled out of SD. Almost exactly 5 years prior on Nov. 2 2007 we arrived to SD. I would have never imagined how I would come to love SD. Looking back over our time in SD, the Lord blessed us with many special friends, a wonderful Church family, God gave us a daughter Beth, blessed us with Levi, then Dmitriy, we are also thankful to the Lord for saving Anna during our time in SD and for the many wonderful memories in the SD snow! We left a huge piece of our hearts there.

We spent 10 days in TLF before we finally left for CA. I am thankful to the Lord for sending 2 sweet ladies to pack our home. I am thankful that my husband was able to and willing to be at the house while they packed it up, allowing me to be at TLF with the kids. So much to be thankful for!

We had 4 days of travel on the road. The weather was just horrible. We ran into 2 snow storms. I am thankful that the hand of God protected us. It is of the Lord that we arrived to CA safely. Our family travels well, our kids do great! We really enjoy our time on the road together.

Since arriving in CA we have been so busy. We have been in TLF here for 2 weeks and Lord willing have 1 more week. On Friday we get the keys to our home and on Monday our goods will arrive. We had desired a home with some property for a garden and some animals. A place where our children could run and play. The home the Lord has provided for us has no land for animals. We do have a small plot for a garden and a swimming pool. The house is in the town we had desired to live in. It is between the base and Sacramento where the Children's hospital is we will be using for Dmitriy. It is a small town away from the city. Though we did not find the property on a "farm" we are peaceful this is the house the Lord has for our home and we are thankful that he would provide for us the way that He does.

The Lord in His perfect timing has provided for us a van as well. It had become more of a need than a want and we are so thankful for these good gifts from Him.

I have been very impressed with Dmitriy's medical care so far. Please pray for all this to come together. So many details concerning his care.

The other kids are adjusting very well. I am so thankful! They have such sweet attitudes about the move.

We have a huge praise report in that we think we have found our church home. The church is everything our hearts have desired. We are just humbled to see how the Lord has directed each and every step of this move.

Tashia and Daniel live about 2 hours from us. We were able to visit them last week and they took us to the ocean. This was my kids first trip to the ocean. They had the time of their lives, we all did. It was so wonderful to see them again after 2 years...I really felt like we never missed a beat.
this friend I love, boy, I look so tired!
He was not so sure about this.
 love this pic
He went from ankles wet to neck wet in about 10 seconds! Beth loved the water for about 1 minute then a wave knocked her over and she was done for the rest of the time :)

Please continue to pray for us as we take care of the many details a move brings along, as well as taking care of all of Dmitriy's medical needs and homeschooling.

We are looking forward to my mom coming up on Christmas.

Please come see us!
