Introducing Dylan Keith....
Isn't he perfect? This is my new nephew, the son of my brother and sister in law. I cannot wait to wrap my arms around two new babies this summer.
For those of you who do not know, my sister is also expecting....a little GIRL! She is due in July. The kids and I are planning an unexpected trip to GA this summer.
Mike and I had planned to be in Ukraine this summer but the Lord had other plans. We desire and we know the Lord would have us be in GA this summer to meet these new gifts. We almost purchased tickets to Ukraine back in January before the protesting turned violent. Little did we know the events that would come to pass in Ukraine. We are thankful that the Lord directed our steps. Tentatively we are postponing a possible trip to Ukraine for next summer. My kind sister in law (ONCE AGAIN) has had an open heart to watching our kids if the Lord keeps the door open for Mike and I to make the trip to Ukraine. We would go down and have a nice, much needed, much over due family reunion in Texas. Soak in some nice quality time with family in Texas and then leave from there...so much can happen between now and then and this is all if the Lord allows...
In case you were wandering. We did finally send a letter to Dmitriy's parents and are waiting to hear back. I am expecting that the situation in Ukraine will postpone us possibly hearing from them.
Dmitriy has an appointment with cardiology this Friday. He was seen by a cardiologist at Colorado Children's hospital but the hospital here wants to see him and clear him before he is sedated for any procedures. Once cardiology clears him, he will have a CT scan of his face in preparation for the cleft palate repair. He will also be having another endoscopy.
Things are very well here...I feel I am finally getting back on a schedule for the first time since we started our adoption of Dmitriy! I feel I am about ready to start another adoption..HA we shall see...I can say we cannot start at the very present moment but I certainly feel I have so much more love to give.
Thank you for praying for our family. God is so merciful to us.
