Our Busy Weekend

We had a non stop, busy, fast pace weekend. All day Saturday I was attending a wedding shower for my friend Mandy who is getting married the 30th of September, we have been friends since the 6th grade. I am really enjoying all of her showers, she has given me 3 showers(wedding, and 2 baby showers). I am so happy her time has arrived, and we can spoil her a bit, for all that she has dome for me and others.

Saturday evening we went to my aunt Brenda's home for supper and games. We get together with all my mom's family once a month. Everyone played Settlers of Catan with the exception of Grace and I(we were working on my blog, thanks again Grace). My family is not too competitive, so I think the game was really all focused around Dean and Mike, imagine that! The Ledbetters and my sister Katie came home with us. We arrived home really late, Grace and I were SO VERY tired!!

Sunday morning we went to church together, it was wonderful having the Ledbetters and my sister there. Mike preached, and it was a great blessing to me. He preached on John 6:37 "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." "They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Mark2:17 Christ died for sinners, we must come to him as a sinner in need of mercy.

After church we ate at PFChangs(how do you spell it??)Yes I gave it one more try and I found something really good, their chicken fried rice. Grace took pictures, look for picture's on her blog.

This may not seem like to busy of a weekend, but add children on top, and it can get crazy! We had lots of fun. We were so happy to have my sister and the Ledbetters, our stay was much too short.

I am in corospondance with my sweet niece Mikayla, so I cannot end without telling her hello!
