to bless us with baby number 5. Yes, if the Lord allows, we will be welcoming this baby into our arms in March. Within a couple weeks time we have experienced death and life, we praise Him in both. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away...blessed be the name of the Lord.

Misty, I can still remember how four years ago, only weeks after Benny Barker passed away, Jessica and I both found out we were expecting. It was a bitter-sweet feeling- that knowledge that you just lost someone so intrinsic to your life, yet at the same time, God gave that new life. It was almost as if the Lord was giving a special gift, saying that though He had brought mourning, He would bring joy as well. I pray that your new little babe will be covered with His hand and you will soon see your tears of sorrow turned to tears of joy.
