To the Ends of the Earth...it seems that far.

Today we got the news we have been waiting on for 5 years, we got orders. As you can see, we got orders to California, pretty shocking to us too (If you can find the little red star on the California state image then that is where we are going). They want us to report by Sept. 30 which means we have to leave here in 4 weeks! Please pray they might grant our request to stay here until the end of November. Mike has a class that the Air Force has already paid for which will be over the middle of Nov. We also have a court date to readopt Dmitriy here in the states on Oct. 2. That date cannot be moved up since SD requires us to be home for 6 months before court. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9 What are we thinking? Not what we had desired,our hearts are sad, however our highest desire is to happily follow the Lord where He sends us. We put all our trust in the God of the Universe who is divinely and providentially directing our paths. We pray for the Lord's will to be done and now we rest that this is His answer. Simply trusting Thee, Lord Jesus, I behold Thee as Thou art, And Thy love, so pure, so changeless, Satisfies my heart; Satisfies its deepest longings, Meets, supplies its every need, Compasseth me round with blessings: Thine is love indeed! I am so thankful that when all around us changes, He never changes.
