Well Naomi had speech therapy today. We made this chart with all sorts of cards to help Naomi show us what she needs or how she is feeling, they are Velcro. I can also use this chart to display a schedule of the day. Signing has cut down on a ton of Naomi's frustration and this should help even more. We do reinforce the verbal words as she uses this chart.

That is a really cool chart Naomi!!! I hope that you are having fun learning with your speech teacher! I bet with the use of this chart, Luke will be able to show you some things too! Enjoy your time working with her!

My little friend Penny also had a little laptop-type thing to communicate. Maybe they can get Naomi one. I love the chart! Reminds me of homeschooling times. Can't wait to see her in action! Love you.

Happy Birthday Again, Naomi. Looks like you had a good time. I do wish we could have celebrated with you. Maybe next year. I love your feelings chart. Signing for Dakota, is helping us alot with the frustration of not being able to talk and express what she needs.
