Each state has their own laws regarding how to legally homeschool. You can read more about those laws on the HSLDA (Homeschool Legal Defense Association) website. If you homeschool and are not a member of HSLDA, I highly encourage you to consider becoming a member. Since moving to our state, our children are homeschooled but they are under our church umbrella school. This means we school at home but our children are enrolled at our church school and they keep all the records. This works lovely for us and we are thankful for this option. In the past we have taken the summers off but not this year. We will continue our studies in Reading, Math, Social Studies and Science.
