Thankful Journal

I feel many times (at least for me) as circumstances change in our lives and as the storms of life come upon us, we (I) are quick to forget just how blessed we (I) are. In 2011 I started a thankful journal and have been adding to it ever since. It stays in a little basket next to my throne recliner and throughout the days and weeks I will write things down that I am thankful for. Yes, there are the obvious things such as my salvation and my family but there are also the more detailed. It is so comforting to flip back through this journal and see how my kind Lord has answered certain prayers. Today and in the future I want to randomly share somethings I have written in my thankful journal...maybe you will see your name there! These are listed in order of what was on my heart that day, not in order of any importance...remember I am always adding.

number 30. says...I am thankful for Dakota and for the Lord giving her to my Aunt Brenda.

number 43. says...I am thankful for the meals prepared for us by neighbors and church family after the loss of our Levi.

number 84. says...I am thankful for the Lord's protecting my brother who was electrocuted at work today.
My brother is ok...this entry was from a few year ago

Our life circumstances change and we certainly do not know what storm is brewing for tomorrow. However, we can be confident that the Lord and His character never changes and you (I) have much to be thankful for!
