Momma's Night Out

My sweet, sweet husband has always been so kind in giving me "nights out" when I need them. There were times right after our adoption where I felt I needed these very often. Now I feel I do not need them as often. Typically for me this means grabbing my bible, kissing everyone goodbye and heading off to have some quite time with the Lord. This usually means I head to Chick-fil-a where I enjoy my dinner in the van while having some quite time to read my Bible and pray. Sometimes literally crying out to God for strength and help during these sometimes challenging but blessed days. A good cry with God and His word in the quietness of my van can do wonders! Typically I try to have the kids bathed and fed supper before I head out but that has not always been the case. There have been days that the emotions of the day have had me waiting for my dear, dear husband at the driveway where he hands me the keys and kisses me bye. See how kind and understanding he is. I LOVE him and he makes having 5 kids pretty easy. I could not do this without him. That being said I do not have many of those type of days, especially now that Dmitriy is more settled and the kids are a bit older. However, I thought I would share some pictures of what goes on in my house while I am away. Anna took these pictures as evidence. I was shocked because my kind husband yet again had the house cleaned and kids in bed by the time I got home...so, without the pictures I would have never known this to be true. They seem to have had a blast and I am sure I came home ready by God's grace to tackle the next day!
